The Institute of International Business (IIB) provides a portfolio of study abroad course options, allowing students to step outside the classroom boundaries and obtain real world insight into the global marketplace
In honor of Mrs. Nita Robinson, J. Mack Robinson established a $1 million endowment to encourage Robinson College of Business students to further their understanding of the global business environment. The Nita Robinson Scholars Program will annually recognize up to 25 undergraduate and master's-level students with awards up to $2,500. The Robinson College of Business plans to make up to 10 awards each year.
The scholarship award may be used to support participation in a study abroad program or an international internship. The IIB administers a portfolio of study abroad courses which vary by geographic focus and discipline. The length of courses ranges from an intensive two week program to one year. While most programs are offered in English at both the undergraduate and graduate level, a select number require language proficiency and are offered only at graduate level. International internships, a requirement for the specialized Masters in International Business are four to six months in duration and require language proficiency in the language of the host country.
