Academic Programs

The Institute of International Business (IIB) offers multiple programs for students who want to shine a global lens on our nationally recognized graduate business training.

The IIB leverages prominent faculty and active corporate partners to create current, practical, coursework that readies graduates to conquer the challenges of the global marketplace

Our location in the vibrant, international, city of Atlanta, gives the students global exposure in the their backyard. Additionally, our students have access to a network of partners, spanning the globe.

In the MBA program with concentration in International Business (MBA ⁄ IB), students build upon a solid core to study both a traditional discipline and global implications.

In the Masters of International Business (MIB) program, students jump immediately to global issues in their discipline of choice. The MIB program includes internship and language proficiency.

J. Mack Robinson College of Business does not currently offer an undergraduate major in International Business. However, the IIB does offer a core course: BUSA 3000, electives, (Introduction to International Business, and International Trade Management) and undergraduate Study Abroad program.

Highly qualified and highly motivated students in languages and international business may apply for MIB / BA Language joint degree program which leads to an undergraduate degree in French, German, or Spanish, plus a Masters of International Business in five years.

The student group, International Business Alliance, is an excellent vehicle to establish and build networks with the international business community. Opportunities range from Speakers Forums, Community Network Initiative, and company visits, to the annual Mentor Program.

The Certificate of International Business (CIB) Program is designed for all majors and BBA candidates in the Robinson College of Business.
