For the last ten years, the Institute of International Business has conducted a course on “Management in South America.”   Classes meet in June and July followed by an overseas experience of two weeks. On Friday, June 19^th, Argentine Consul General Pompeyo Carlos Layus provided valuable background information to the students as he briefed them on the environment for doing business in Argentina.

In August the students will travel to Buenos Aires and then on to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. In both countries they will get high-level briefings at a variety of companies and learn how those firms are dealing with the current challenges of the global marketplace.
