Tamer Cavusgil’s textbook, International Business: Strategy, Management and the New Realities has just been translated into Mandarin and published in China. Tamer, along with his co-authors Gary Knight and John Riesenberger, published his book with Prentice-Hall in 2009. It has now been adopted by some 160 universities worldwide. The Chinese edition will appeal to many universities there that teach in Mandarin. The new generation of university students is increasingly attracted to business studies in concert with China’s great strides in linking its business sectors with the global economy.
Cavusgil is the Fuller E. Callaway Professorial Chair and Director of Robinson College’s Institute of International Business.
