Bio
Wade M. Danis is an Assistant Professor in the IIB. He received his Ph.D. in Strategy and International Business from Indiana University. Professor Danis’ research and teaching center on global strategic management, international comparative management, and entrepreneurship, especially in the context of emerging economies. He has taught MBA and executive courses in Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Bosnia-Herzegovina, and has consulted for well-known organizations in both Europe and the U.S.
Professor Danis has published numerous international business articles in academic journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies, the Journal of World Business and the European Management Journal, and has been awarded several competitive research grants. He is also an active member of the Academy of Management and the Academy of International Business.
In addition to serving on a number of committees at the Robinson College of Business, Professor Danis coordinates the Institute of International Business Research Colloquium series, which he founded in 2004. He has also served as program director for the Czech Republic & Hungary annual study trip, which he established in 2005, and for which he was awarded the Study Abroad Program Director of the Year honor in 2007.
Prior to joining the GSU in 2004, Wade served on the business school faculty of Marquette University.
