Mentor Program

Goal and Benefits

The goal of the Mentor Program is to provide students the opportunity to establish long-term relationships with an international business contact in the student's chosen field of study. In order to allow the students more time to establish productive relationships, the program will continue to span nine months from September to May. In addition, participants will be REQUIRED to attend monthly Mentor meetings with their individual mentor, and Crosstalk sessions with all mentors and protegés in September, November January and April.

The Crosstalk's allow students to interact with all mentor participants, providing exposure and access to other leaders in the international business community. The protegés are expected to participate in an orientation session at the beginning of the Mentor Program, a mid-year check-up, and a de-briefing session at the conclusion of the Program. The Mentor Program culminates with a breakfast honoring the mentors and the protegés.

The Mentor Program continues to be an excellent means of acquiring knowledge and contacts in various areas of the business community. Each year we have made the Program more selective by reserving participation for those students who express interest in and knowledge of the international business arena.
