Bio
Larry Marquit is former Director, Planning and Programs, for the Center of Business and Industrial Marketing in the College of Business at Georgia State University. As an organization and marketing management consultant for nearly thirty years, his client list comprises private as well as public sector clients, including Harley-Davidson of Atlanta, US Borax, Bridgestone Tires of America, AT&T, Hyundai Motors of America, Toshiba Corporation of America, Ocean Scientific, Neutrogena Corp., and the Los Angeles Times.
He also has extensive executive experience, including Corporate Director of International Office Automation Support for Wang Laboratories, Lowell, MA; Senior Organization Development Consultant, Sperry Corporation, Blue Bell, PA and Los Angeles, CA; and Vice President of Human Resources and Development for Neutrogena Corporation in Los Angeles. He holds a BS in Biology and Natural Sciences from Cortland College, and Masters and Doctoral degrees in Behavioral Sciences Administration from Syracuse University where he was a Ford Foundation Fellow for Studies in Leadership. Additional training includes certification from the three-year Post Doctoral institute at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, National Training Laboratories, Bethel, Maine, and Esalen Institute, Big Sur, California. Consulting and research in the field of business sales leadership lead him to his current interest in marketing, with focus on key account relationship marketing and developing the global sales organization. In 2007 he served as an editorial consultant for the Value Merchants, by James C. Anderson, et. al., and published by the Harvard Business School Press.
