Bio

Jim Senn has more than 35 years of international experience in the creation and implementation of corporate and competitive strategy and leadership development initiatives in high-tech, service, and manufacturing industries. He has worked extensively with CEOs, managing directors, and other senior executives in public and private enterprises.

Senn’s teaching is in the internationally ranked Robinson Executive MBA program where he focuses on executive leadership, corporate strategy, and high tech industry strategy. His courses are designed for corporate executives who hold or are on a trajectory to general manager rank with profit and loss responsibility in their organizations. Senn has been recognized by Georgia State University as a master teacher and has repeatedly received high course/program evaluations by executives and EMBA students.

Senn is a highly regarded consultant and facilitator in leadership as well as corporate and high tech technology strategy with many well-known “blue chip” firms in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He has traveled to China and throughout Asia frequently since 1968.

Senn has been appointed to the board of directors of numerous public and private organizations (appointments span both established and start-up enterprises) and is listed in Who’s Who in Finance and Industry (since 1984) and Who’s Who in the East (since 1986). He is a Founder of the MIS Quarterly (Founding Associate Editor), the Association for Information Systems, the International Conference on Information Systems, and the Society for Information Systems (Atlanta Chapter).
