Management in transitional economies 2009: The Czech Republic & Hungary
Our 2009 trip was one of the most memorable ever. After two weeks of intensive classroom study in Atlanta we began the two-week long field study portion of the trip on May 16th in Prague, Czech Republic. For the first time in recent memory we were greeted by pleasant, sunny weather upon our arrival, which stayed with us for most of our trip. After a traditional Czech meal that evening and a walking tour of the city the next morning, we got quickly got down to business with visits to over a two dozen companies over the next two weeks, as well as some fascinating cultural activities.
