Mentor Program
Mentor Program
provides students the opportunity to establish long-term
relationships with an international business contact in the
student's chosen field of study. Each student is matched with a
senior executive who brings a wealth of experience and insight to
the practice of international business.
Speakers Forum
Speakers from
the international business community are invited to talk on various
topics of interest. The topics vary by industry, functional area, or
geographic focus. It is an opportunity to meet leaders in the
community, expand your knowledge base, or explore a new area of
interest. Networking at its best!
Company Visits
Company
visits provide an opportunity to meet the practitioners on their
turf, ask questions, and build relationships.
Cultural Activities Program
IBA sponsors Cultural Night where members might watch a foreign
film, see the latest exhibit at the High Museum, or listen to some
Latin Samba.
Special Events
IBA sponsors
different special events each year, such as: trips to the Savannah
Port Authority, the World Game, International Trade Show,
International Business Student Panel, International Business Career
Panel, GSU International Fair
F3: Friends, Fun, and Food
It's the best
of everything. Social activities where members and
wanna-b's alike have a good time, build
friendships, commiserate, and grow.
Sundays @ Seven
International Film Night. Come out and enjoy a different
international film on selected Sunday's.
Dine and Unwind Series
Attend
dinners at different ethnic restaurants in the Atlanta area and
learn about the culture and traditions of those countries.
